Monthly job reports continue to show high numbers of unemployment with no end in sight. As graduates continue to be laid off, furloughed or lose employment, institutions can build and deepen relationships by assisting in graduates’ job searches, in upskilling or reskilling. During this presentation, we’ll discuss recent survey findings around alumni engagement and career support and how timely, aggregated data linking experience to potential careers can help graduates in their career exploration or job search.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Apply recent survey data that highlights the level of interest of alumni in engaging with their alma mater and their interest in career support to adjust offerings and deepen relationships.
  • See how access to current labor market data can be used to advise and support alumni undergoing employment disruption.
  • Identify opportunities to help alumni identify skills and experiences and inform their career search.
