Position: Chair, Programming; Conference

Chair, Programming: Conference will create and direct the program plan for the annual conference and support Corporate Partner Programming in the annual program’s plan. In the event of mid-year meetups, Co-Chair, Programming: Conference would provide oversight of the committee member coordinating the mid-year meet-up(s)

Produce a programming plan for each of the programming channels: annual programming, conference programming, mentorship program that identifies potential budget needs, committee member roles, inter-committee collaborations, preliminary timeline/calendar, and summary of feedback/recommendations from previous year.

  • Understand industry challenges and create relevant and useful content such as DE&I, workplace issues, and challenges within Higher Education.
  • Aligned with program channel assignments, each chair will direct the program development process from conception to execution, including coordination of committee and event branding. Documentation of process, outcomes, and evaluation required for end of year summaries. Each chair will contribute their area of assignment to board meeting updates. Volunteer recruitment will reflect roles for each program channel.
  • Offer programs that engage members as presenters and authors that contribute to the creation of a community of professionals exchanging professional experiences, content knowledge, industry resources, trends, and innovations.
  • Meet goals of offering a minimum of one webinar per month for at least 10 months and 1 annual conference.
