Position: President-Elect

The President-Elect is a key member of the leadership team who is responsible for observing and assisting the President with the business operations of the organization and stands in for the President when necessary. They will build relationships with committee chairs and fellow board members, and with the association management staff. Responsibilities include and not limited to:

  • Supporting a productive, professional and inclusive workspace and culture for members of the board of directors, the executive committee, and the association management team
  • Enabling the association to pursue and achieve its goals and participate in leading initiatives as needed
  • Ensuring a smooth transition for the organization from President to President
